OVERSIZED ROLLING STEEL DOOR
 
- EXLTUBE needed to increase truck loading capacity and speed up the
loading process due to the addition of a new 52,000
sq. ft. metal building (see building).
- EXLTUBE's existing overhead door was inadequate to handle an increase
in truck loading capacity.
- Working closely with UNITED STATES CONSTRUCTION, INC., a structural
engineer designed the opening for a new 34' x 16' rolling
steel door.
- A main building column was removed and the interior was reinforced
to accommodate the oversized door.
- The electrified
34' x 16' rolling steel door was installed with
protective interior and exterior bollards.
